PHP Developer Print E-mail

We are now looking for a developer to help drive the development of our software suite to work from our Amersham office. The successful candidate must have 3-5 years experience in the following:

Essential areas of skills/experience

  • Joomla (or similar experience writing plugins/modules for CMS's such as Drupal, Xoops, Wordpress, MT) experience
  • Object Oriented PHP 5 programming in a LAMP environment
  • jQuery / MooTools / Prototype experience
  • Linux (Preferably RHEL or Centos) / Apache 2 / MySQL 5 / MemCache

Preferably (coding experience with):

  • MediaWiki, vBulletin, experience would be an asset
  • PostgreSQL

Ideally familiar with the following tools:

  • Eclipse
  • Zen or similar PHP development/debugging tool
  • MySQL Enterprise tools
  • VmWare
  • Linux command line tools

The successful candidate must have experience delivering at least one project on 'Internet' timescales and must be able to point to Web 2.0 projects which he/she has contributed to the development of.
